Editors may publish editorial articles in their own journals, provided that the submission is handled by an independent editor and that such publications do not exceed 25% of the content across the two most recent issues (in compliance with DOAJ guidelines).

Special Transition

Previous authors/reviewers may apply as editors after a cooling-off period of two issues to eliminate any potential conflict of interest.
