Part of Publishing Policy

We publish articles, books, and software using an Open Access model. This information is also stated on all ETFLIN portfolio pages. We will always be open and transparent about what we do, including pricing.

In managing articles, this involves many aspects including editorial work, reviewing, translations, API services, archiving, membership, and more to ensure the quality of the work we publish. Because the process for all articles is the same, the Article Processing Charge (APC) is also the same for all articles across all ETFLIN portfolios.

Currently, ETFLIN is still in the nurturing stage. Therefore, all APC fees will be waived for all authors until an unspecified time. We will continue to update this information through this page. When the APC implementation is enforced, detailed information on determining the APC will be provided. The price we offer is only to cover all processing, taxation, and profits for maintenance, development, security, and staffing costs.

Waiver

We provide discounts of up to 100% for authors who fall into the following categories:

• Independent researchers, whether individual or in groups, who do not receive external funding.
• Undergraduate or graduate students who are the first or corresponding author and use personal funds for their research.
• Researchers from developing and low-income countries based on the World Bank criteria.
• Research with a significant impact on the advancement of knowledge, society, and the environment.
• Authors from more than 5 different countries (based on our Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion policy).

Refund

No refunds or credits will be provided for articles in the following conditions:

• Articles that are removed or retracted due to violating our terms and policies.
• Changes in licensing.
• Delays in the publication process.
• Events beyond our control such as natural disasters and others.
